Chaos

Old art again.
This was done with watercolors and pen. It's of Tsuki, the moon goddess, and Taiyo, the sun god. Thre was text to go along with it but it was too big for my scanner.

The story behind it is basically this: Tsuki and Taiyo were in love, but because the sun and moon are opposing elements this love was forbidden. Not because no one wanted them to be together particularly, but because opposing elements can't be together. Example, if you tried to combine fire and water into one, it quite simply wouldn't work. They CANNOT be joined. If they were then it would basically break down the universe's natural order and everything would be destroyed. The world would be brought to chaos, which to those who know their greek mythology is absolute nothingness.
